Head West on the Erie Canal to the Historic Canal Villages of Spencerport and Brockport

Come take a memorable trip on the cruise boat Riverie, heading West on the Erie Canal to the historic canal villages of Spencerport and Brockport. Riverie will dock in both villages and do roundtrip departures for a few days in August.
The docking location in Spencerport will be at the Spencerport Depot & Canal Museum 16 East Ave Spencerport, NY 14559. Cruises in delightful Spencerport will occur on Sunday August 24th(1:30pm-3pm and 3:30-5pm), Monday August 25th (11:30 – 1:00pm, 1:30 – 3:00pm, 3:30 – 5:00pm, and 5:30 – 7:00pm) and Tuesday August 26th (11:30 – 1:00pm).
The docking location in Brockport will be at the Brockport Welcome Center 11 Water Street Brockport, NY 14420. Cruises in the college town of Brockport will occur on Tuesday August 26th (3:30-5pm) and Wednesday, August 27th (11:30 – 1:00pm, 1:30 – 3:00).
On every trip there will be a narrative given by one of the knowledgeable deck hands and guides outlining the history pertaining to the route of each voyage and village. The sites to be seen along the way include significant historic architecture, wildlife, canal waterway history, and historic impact of each village to their surrounding area.
Enjoy the comfort of Riverie’s cabin seating with its large windows, padded benches and chairs, along with the large and open bow for viewing the sights during your cruise. A variety of refreshments are available for purchase. Come experience what makes the waterways of the Rochester region so significant.
