Kid’s Cruises
Experience the magic of the Erie Canal with our Kids Cruises on Sam Patch! These 75-minute morning boat rides, perfect for young passengers, are available at 10am on Tuesday and Saturday Mornings through Labor Day. Children receive crayons and a NYS Canal Activity Packet loaded with information and activities related to the Erie Canal. The activity packet includes the Erie Canal song, connect the dots, canal word search and word scramble, a glossary of canal terms and other activities they can complete while on board this kid friendly cruise or bring home to complete and save as a reminder of their time on the historic Erie Canal!
Your family will journey along the historic routes of America’s early settlers and learn about the Erie Canal’s rich history with a live narrative as you witness Lock 32 in action.
