Meet Randi and Nic Minetor: Your Guides for an Unforgettable Birding Cruise

Randi and Nic Minetor, will join the crew on board to lead this unique series of cruises for all types of birders – experienced, novice, and just curious.

Participants are encouraged to bring their own binoculars, though binoculars will be available on board for personal use during the cruise.

Author and journalist Randi Minetor has written more than 90 published non-fiction books about birds and birding, America’s national parks, hiking, nature, and historic cities. Her books on birds, illustrated with photos by her husband, Nic Minetor, include the fall 2024 release of Birding Texas: Where, How, and When to Spot Birds across the State (Falcon), as well as earlier releases: Birding New England, Birding Florida, and the foldout guide Birds of New York State (Quick Reference Publishing). In fall 2024, her latest book, The Complete Language of Birds (Wellfleet Press), details the folklore and mythology behind 400 bird species around the world. Their most popular book is Backyard Birding and Butterfly Gardening (Lyons Press). Randi is the president of the Rochester Birding Association, and she writes for North American Birds and Birding magazines.
