Corn Hill Navigation witnessed its first engagement proposal last month aboard Riverie during a
sunset cruise. Congratulations to the happy couple! We are delighted to have played host to
such a special moment in your lives.
Our vessels have, in fact, witnessed many special events and momentous occasions in the past
few years. We’ve provided a unique venue for a vow renewal, a class reunion, a wedding, a
family reunion, a bachelorette party, and a rehearsal dinner. Our passengers have celebrated
milestones such as birthdays, anniversaries, baby and bridal showers, graduations, and
retirements on the decks of our boats. Corporations have held board meetings, staff retreats,
client cultivation events, employee appreciation outings, and staff training while cruising the
canal and river. “There’s no better way to gather with colleagues, family, or friends than while
exploring our scenic waterways aboard Sam Patch or Riverie,” said Denise French, CHN’s
Charter Coordinator, “We help people ditch the stuffy conference room or banquet hall and
