This membership allows you to enjoy 4 different presentations on the vessels Sam Patch or Riverie during the Erie Canal’s Bicentennial year!
Unlocking the Past: Navigating the Erie Canal’s First 200 Years Speaker Series takes an in-depth dive into the values, customs, ideas, and creativity that were sparked by the opening of the Erie Canal and the impact this waterway had on the individual and on the collective society of upstate NY and beyond. All speakers are experts in their field and local historians that are passionate about the Erie Canal.
Memberships need to be used within the 2025 season. All 4 cruises will be validated within the Speaker Series activities on both vessels. Capacity for each presentation are first come, first serve.
Once membership is purchased, you will receive an email confirmation with a membership ID code. This code can be used to book any of the special speaker cruises, up to 4. Only one ticket can be redeemed per cruise for each membership. When entering the code and applying it, the booking system will tell you how many cruises you have left to book with your special code.
