Explore Our Sam Patch Erie Canal Tours
Traverse the legendary Erie Canal — considered by many to be the eighth wonder of the world — on a replica historic packet boat. Cruises offer a rare perspective on the region’s cultural heritage, offering live narration and a trip through a century-old lock.
Each year, more than 11,000 people — representing all 50 states and more than 30 countries — cruise on the Erie Canal on the Sam Patch, named after the 19th-century mill worker who became America’s first famous daredevil who met his fate in Rochester, NY.
